We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the County Leadership, Chiefs, and the people of Maryland County for the exceptional support and hospitality shown during the recent visit of the Marylanders Return to Your Roots delegation from the diaspora.
This homecoming was more than a visit, it was a meaningful reconnection with our heritage, culture, community, and tourism. The delegation engaged with local communities, toured project sites, made generous donations, and shared memorable moments, ending with a warm and inspiring farewell dinner.
Special Thanks To:
- Local government authorities for their coordination and leadership
- The Mayor of Harper and Harper City Corporation staff for their collaboration on community cleanups, street signs, trash bins, and the July 26, 2025 Children’s Party
- Our members, sponsors, and partners for their steadfast support
- Supporters and well‑wishers whose encouragement strengthened this effort
- And above all, the people of Maryland County for their unity, kindness, and open-hearted welcome
Your collective efforts made this journey impactful and unforgettable.
We are pleased to announce that the Marylanders Return to Your Roots 2026 intends to return annually, strengthening our shared commitment to development, empowerment, agriculture, tourism, and cultural reconnection.
The next visit is scheduled for December 7–13, 2026. We encourage all stakeholders, community leaders, and citizens to continue fostering collaboration and unity as we build lasting partnerships for the progress of our county.
