Another Successful Clean-Up Day in Nekabo

Saturday, April 19, 2025, marked another fulfilling clean-up effort in Nekabo, behind the Harper general market. Despite the challenging and often tedious work, our dedicated group of volunteers showed up and did a truly fantastic job.

As we consistently see, MRTYR's various clean-up projects wouldn't achieve such success without the commitment and hard work of our amazing volunteers. Thank you all so much for volunteering your time and energy! Words truly cannot express how grateful we are for your willingness to step up and make a difference. Your impact means the world to the community we serve in Maryland County.

A special shout-out and heartfelt thanks go to Comfort N. Wilson, our steadfast MRTYR representative, and to Archie and Christopher for their outstanding leadership on the ground. And to Audrey, thank you for the nice and sweet cassava – a much-needed and appreciated treat!

We also extend our immense gratitude to Mayor Abraham B. Jackson. Mayor Jackson, you are truly an awesome team player, and we deeply appreciate your hard work. You and your team are absolutely amazing!

Making a significant difference in environmental, developmental, educational, and economic growth in the community of Maryland County—the "Land of the Sunshine and Happiness"—remains our ongoing and unwavering objective.
